MYITKYINA
It is the northern most railway terminal, 919 miles from Yangon and 487 miles from Mandalay. Visitors can tour the Myit Sone, the confluence of Maykha and Malikha Sterams. Ayeyarwaddy, the most useful river in Myanmar has its sources from this confluence and flows 1325 miles to the mouth of the river. The water over here is crystal clear. The panoramic view of the scenario at Myit Sone with the unspoiled beauty of nature is beyond the expression of words and will definitely be a fine attraction to tourists. Different tribes of national races live in harmony with their own cultures, customs, dialects, dances and lifestyles. For mountaineering enthusiasts, expeditons to Mount Khaka Bo Razi and Mount Gam Lan Razi wourld be an adventure.

PUTAO
Putao is another town in Kachin State surrounded by snow-capped mountains. It is cool the whole year round and there are many varieties of citrus fruits grown in the orchards. Flowing streams and rivulets, straw-roofed houses and fences of pebbles and creek stones provide a pleasant, pastoral contrast to the scenes and sight of modern cities. The suspension bridges are the typical river crossing in this region. People of the Rawan, Lisu, Khamti-Shan, Jingphaw and Kachin are represented in the region. It is the nearest town to the base camp for Climbing Mt. Khakhaborazi (5889 meters), which is the highest mountain in Myanmar and in Southeast Asia. Putao is the starting point form Myanmar’s most adventurous trekking adventure.  

Mt. Hkakaborazi & It's Surroundings
Mt. Hkakaborazi is situated in Kachin State, is famous not only for wild orchids, but also for trekking destinations. Tarong tribe is an endangered race of diminutive people, none of whom is more than 4 ft in height. Seeing the whole region surrounded by the Snow Clad Mountain and forest is very enjoyable. Hill tribes such as Lisu, Rawang, Khanti-Shan and Jing Hpaw are very attractive to eco tourists.
The wild orchids 134 avian species were also recorded, among them the impeyan pheasant and the blood pheasant are endangered. The Hkakaborazi region is the home of the rare "blue sheep", the red goral, the tar kin, the scow, and the black beaking deer leaf deer. The richest of the biodiversity deserves the interests of eco tourists.

Kan Thaya Beach
Located 290 km from Yangon near Gwa on the Rakhine Coast, KanThaya Beach is accessinble by an 8 hour drive from Yangon over forested mountain road.
