Yangon – Bagan – Mt.Victoria-(Natma Taung National park) – Bagan (Trekking and hill tribe village) – Yangon (8 days / 7 nights)

Day 01: Yangon arrival & sightseeing (by car)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by Young Top Tycoon Tourism representative and our tour guide. Check in hotel. Yangon sightseeing includes; the Royal Park , one of the most popular green spaces in the downtown area of Yangon. Here you see the glittering Karaweik Barge, a replica of the Royal Bridge and enjoy the view over the lake up to the Shwedagon Pagoda. Visit to the city center with the gilded 2500 years Sule Pagoda.And visit colonial style buildings surrounding Mahabandula Park . Proceed toChaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda to see 70-meters long colossal reclining Buddha. Then drive to stroll through a narrow street of China Town including the short visit to Tao Temple. Then, shortly before sunset, the 107 meters high golden stupa of Shwedagon Pagoda will glitter in the soft light of the early evening.

Day 02: Yangon – Bagan (by flight & car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport and fly to Bagan. Arrive Bagan and sightseeing includes; starts with the Nyaung Oo Colorful Local Market and then visit Shwezigon Pagoda ,its magnificent golden stupa,Wet-Kyi Inn- Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration. After that, proceed to Myinkaba Village for observing the traditional lacquer ware workshop to explore the process of making unquie Myanmar bowls and trays. And then, Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece of the early- style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Continue to Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, and Dhammayangyi Temple, the most missive temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Day 03: Yangon – Bagan – Kanpetlet (by 4 wheel drive)

After breakfast at hotel, depart by Land Rover (Like a Jeep) to Kanpetlet by car about 8 hrs. On the way stop at Chauk and visit to the colourful market, then driving to Saw where we have lunch in local small restaurant. And then continue driving to Kanpetlet (base camp of Mt.Victoria, Kanpetlet is located near the peak of Myanmar’s third highest mountain). In the evening, arrive Kanpetlet and where this clients can start to see a few Chin Women with tattooed face in the village near Kanpetlet. Dinner and overnight at Mt. Mountain Oasis Restaurant in Kanpetlet, very simple accommodation and electricity is only available from 06:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

(The Natma Taung National Park covers an area of 722 km2 with many rare species of flora and fauna.)

Day 04: Kanpetlet (trekking) – Mt. Victoria - Mindat

Early morning after breakfast at 07:30, explore the area. From Kanpetlet (1400 m) it is 24 km to the peak of Mount Victoria (3109 m). The car can go quite near to the 2nd base near to the peak, so that you have to climb only about 8 km by feet (it will take about 2 ½ hours). Enjoy the spectacular views over the jungle and mountain area. After a short break return to the second base-camp on Mount Victoria and continue by car to Kanepetlet. After lunch at local restaurant drive about 4 hours over bumpy roads to Mindat (approx 1500 m). If time permits have a coffee break at Kangyi village before the road goes steep up the Chin Hills to Mindat, a base for Mount Victoria. Mindat is a small town inhabited by Chin people. The Chin call themselves “mountain people”. Stay overnight at Guesthouse in Mindat

(Mindat is about 1500 m above sea-level)

Day 05: Mindat – Chin Tribe Village - Mindat 

After breakfast, drive to Panow village and meet with head of the village and then observe their traditional way of life that they earn their living by hunting and farming in the mountain. You have the chance to see the famous Chin-Women with tattooed faces, a fading tradition, and then return back to Mindat; see with Chin women wearing big earrings listen to sound of flutes by nose and chin traditional weaving house. Overnight at guest house in Mindat. (If you like, you could ask your local guide to arrange a Chin Dance. Please note that this is on your own expense.)

 

 

Day 06: Mindat – Bagan

After breakfast, have a look to Mindut market, then return to Bagan by car on different way; Kyaukhtu, Pauk, Kanma which distance is 92 miles, and then across the Ayeyarwaddy River by Z craft about 45 minutes. Transfer from the jetty to your Hotel.

Day 07: Bagan sightseeing- Yangon (by car& flight) 

After breakfast, visit Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi temple with the murals restored by UNESCO and Mya ze di pagoda, earlier Myanmar writing in 1113 AD and you can study about the toddy palm and how to make Myanmar chocolate. Proceed to visit Manuha Temple and Nan Paya. Afternoon visit to Minnanthu village and photograph the village life. In the evening transfer to the Airport for flight back to Yangon.

Day 08 Yangon sightseeing & departure (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, morning stop to take photo in the front of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s house area who got Nobel peace prize in 1991. Shopping at Gems mart and Handicraft shops at Bogyoke (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And visitKaba Aye (World Peace) Pagodaand drive to Yangon International airport for departure. If time permit on the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and White Elephant camp and departure.
