YTT-02 : Yangon – Dala - Twante –Yangon (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 01: Yangon arrival & sightseeing (by car)

Day 02: Yangon – Dala – Twante sightseeing (by ferry boat & by car)

Day 03: Yangon sightseeing & departure (by car)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by Young Top Tycoon Tourism representative and our tour guide. Check in hotel. Yangon sightseeing includes; the Royal Park, one of the most popular green spaces in the downtown area of Yangon. Here you see the glittering Karaweik Barge, a replica of the Royal Bridge and enjoy the view over the lake up to the Shwedagon Pagoda. Visit to the city center with the gilded 2500 years Sule Pagoda. And visit colonial style buildings surrounding Mahabandula Park. Proceed to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda to see 70-meters long colossal reclining Buddha. Then drive to stroll through a narrow street of China Town including the short visit to Tao Temple. Then, shortly before sunset, the 107 meters high golden stupa of Shwedagon Pagoda will glitter in the soft light of the early evening.

Let’s get up early and breakfast at hotel, enjoy the sunrise of Yangon and be prepared for our suburb tour. We will move to the south, across the poetic Yangon River, observe the morning activities on both sides of the river before reach Dala (a southern township of Yangon Region and also our first stop today). Upon arrival, will travel around Dala in a trishaw (the most popular vehicle), through local fish market, green areas and teashops. Then your trishaw will take you to Shwe Sayan Pagoda (the most prominent pagoda in Dala) and its Buddha image with a large green leaf behind. Remember taking photos of the rural areas with roads and bamboo houses of Dala before head to Twante along the Dala- Twante Roads. The most famous site in Twante is the Shwesandaw Pagoda (one of the four big pagodas bearing the name “Shwe Sandaw”. There is legend behind this pagoda and it is apparently built during the lifetime of the Lord Buddha. Then we will peek into the local cottage industries and see how the traditional products are made. Before leaving, we will visit the Oh Bo Pottery Sheds where you can make your own pots, decorate them or buy many types of pots with various colors, sizes and shapes. On the way back to Yangon, study a mysterious pagoda, the Baungdawgyoke Pagoda. It is also knows as snake temple. As soon as you arrive to Yangon, stop to take photo in the front of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s house area who got Nobel peace prize in 1991.


After breakfast at hotel, morning visit Botataung Pagoda and Nanthida Jetty and watch the traffic on the Yangon River; here luxury cruise liners come to berth at this jetty quite often. Shopping at Gems mart and Handicraft shops at Bogyoke (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And visit Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda and drive to Yangon International airport for departure. If time permit on the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and White Elephant camp and departure.
